05/10/2010 - Servicing Advisors Uses Diamant as Financial Accounting Software
Frankfurt, May 7, 2010 – The credit service company Servicing Advisors Deutschland GmbH in Frankfurt will work with the software “Diamant” by Diamant Software GmbH & Co. KG, Bielefeld, for its financial accounting. According to Eckhard Blauhut, Managing Director of Servicing Advisors, the crucial factor for this decision was the long-term market experience of the developer Diamant Software as well as the broad range of services of the financial accounting solution. With the new system, it will be possible to gain efficiency by an automated calculation and booking of financing costs.
The medium-sized company has approximately 170 employees and is represented at five locations throughout Germany. The credit service company takes over the administration and collection of claims and specializes in particular in the resolution of properties out of so-called non-performing loans. Servicing Advisors’ financial accounting is responsible for the company’s own accounting, but besides also works as service provider for different real estate companies and offers them a financial accounting and cash management service. In order to be able to work efficiently, different employees have to enter bookings into different clients at a time. Since the previous financial accounting system did not run stable when there was parallel access, it was removed and replaced by Diamant. “We need a reliable standardized system“, states Managing Director Eckhard Blauhut.
A particular financial accounting requirement of Servicing Advisors is the calculation and booking of financing costs in the framework of cash management processes. The background: The company administrates a great deal of properties with the corresponding loan agreements. Many bookings, for example incoming payments like rental payments or invoices for heating costs, continuously change the loan balance. In the previous system, such bookings with the resulting calculation of interest could only be processed with great manual effort. Tasks, Servicing Advisors can now deal with in an automated process with Diamant.
